Do I need a Learners Permit?

No. You do not need a Learners Permit it you come through us. You must have a current WA Drivers Licence.

What are the DOT Requirements?

Heavy Rigid (HR) requirements:

Must have held:

  • a car licence for at least 2 years or
  • a LR or MR for at least a year

Heavy Combination (HC) requirements:

Must have held:

  • a car licence for at least 3 years and
  • a HR licence for at least 1 year or
  • a HC licence for at least a year

Do you conduct the assessments in house or do you use DOT?

Yes, we conduct the assessments in house and have our own approved assessors.

(Please make sure that the driving school you book in with is able to do this otherwise the assessment wait time is quite long).
